ProView supports video files with a full-featured review player. When you open a video asset, it loads with playback controls, frame-accurate navigation, annotations, multiple subtitle & audio tracks, safe area guides, and timecode-anchored comments. Comments can be tied to the active subtitle or audio track, making it easy for collaborators to understand the context behind each note.
Video Player Layout
When you open a video asset in ProView, the interface has four key areas:

- Top Navigation Bar—controls for navigating back, changing status, toggling Theatre Mode, and accessing asset actions
- Main Viewer—the central area where the video is displayed
- Bottom Navigation Bar—playback controls including play/pause, timecode, volume, speed, settings, and fullscreen
- Right Sidebar—tabs for Comments, Metadata, and Shortcuts
Top Navigation
The top navigation bar runs across the full width of the player and is divided into two sides.
Left Side
- Back button—navigates back to the asset's location (project or folder), opens in a new tab
- Asset name—displays the name of the currently open video file
Right Side
- Live Users—avatars of teammates currently viewing the same asset in real time, with a count for additional viewers (e.g. +2)
- Status—a dropdown to update the review status of the asset (e.g. Needs Review, Approved). Changes are reflected immediately across the project.
- Theatre Mode—toggles between Default Mode (sidebar visible) and Theatre Mode (player expands to full width, sidebar hidden). Also accessible via the keyboard shortcut T.
- More Actions (...)—a menu with additional asset options:
- Asset Details—view and copy the asset's ID and path, useful for sharing context with teammates or raising support tickets
- Share Asset—open the share modal to invite collaborators for review, approval, or download
- Copy Link—copy a direct link to the asset for quick sharing within your team
- Go Next—jump to the next asset in the current folder
- Go Previous—jump to the previous asset in the current folder

On mobile: The bottom bar shows Play, Volume, Skip back 5s, Timecode, Skip forward 5s, Settings, and Fullscreen. Loop is not shown in the mobile bottom bar.

Multiple Subtitle Tracks
Add and preview .vtt subtitle tracks directly in the player. Access via the Settings gear → Subtitles. Multiple subtitle versions can be uploaded—such as different languages or caption variants—and switched at any point during review. When a subtitle track is active, it is captured as a chip on any comment made, so feedback is always traceable to the subtitle version being reviewed. See Subtitles for full details.

Multiple Audio Tracks
Switch between different audio mixes or dubbed language versions without leaving the player. Access via the Settings gear → Audio Tracks. Source audio stays on by default; once you add a track you can toggle source audio off independently. When an audio track is active, it is captured as a chip on any comment made. Safe Area Guides
Overlay aspect ratio guides to validate framing for different output formats. Access via the Settings gear → Safe Area. Available guides: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3. See Safe Area Guides for full details.

Annotations
Draw directly on video frames before submitting a comment. Use the color palette icon near the Send button in the Comments panel. Available tools: Arrow, Brush/Pen (freehand), Circle, Square. Choose from four preset colors: Green, Pink, Orange, Yellow. Playback pauses automatically when you annotate. See Annotations for full details.

Comments are anchored to a specific timecode. The comment input shows the current timecode badge when you type. Use mark in/out to comment on a range of the timeline.
When a subtitle or audio track is active, it is captured as a chip in the comment input box and displayed on comment cards in the sidebar—so the track context of every note is visible at a glance without opening the comment.
All comment actions—reply, edit, resolve, delete, public/private visibility, filter by track, filter by type, download—are fully supported. See Review Comments for full details.
