Switch between audio tracks to review different mixes or language versions.

ProView supports multiple audio tracks on a single video asset, making it easy to compare different audio versions—such as stereo mixes, surround mixes, or dubbed language tracks—without leaving the player.
Adding a New Audio Track
Before adding an audio track, make sure the audio file has already been uploaded to the same Postudio project or folder as the video.

- Open the Audio Tracks menu (Settings gear > Audio Tracks).
- Click + Add New.
- A file picker opens showing assets within the same project. Select the audio file you want to add as a track.
- The new track will appear in the Audio Tracks list and can be selected for playback.

Permission: Any user with the View All Assets permission can add audio tracks.
Viewing Available Audio Tracks
- Click the Settings gear icon in the player controls (bottom right).
- Select Audio Tracks.
- The currently active track is indicated with a checkmark. The default track is Source Audio.

Switching Audio Tracks
- Open the Audio Tracks menu (Settings gear > Audio Tracks).
- Click on the track you want to hear. Playback switches to that track immediately.

Checking Added Audio Tracks
After an audio track has been added, you can review its details before activating it:

- Hover over an audio track name in the list to see the file path within the project (e.g. First Project/Export Single Segment 17 Mach.wav). This helps confirm you've attached the correct file, especially when multiple versions exist.
- The currently active audio track is indicated with a checkmark (✓) to the right of its name.
- Tracks that are not currently active show an ⓘ info icon to the left of their name—hover over it to view the source file path.
- Source Audio (the video's original embedded audio) is always listed at the top and cannot be deleted.

Deleting an Audio Track
To remove an added audio track from the asset:

- Click the Settings gear icon > Audio Tracks.
- Hover over the track you want to remove.
- Click the trash icon (🗑) that appears to the right of the track name.
- The track is removed immediately from the list.

Note: Deleting an audio track only removes it from this asset — it does not delete the audio file from your project. The Source Audio track cannot be deleted.
Applies to: video assets only. Multiple audio tracks are not available for audio, image, or PDF assets.
