ProView supports audio files with a dedicated audio player. When you open an audio asset, it loads with playback controls, frame-accurate navigation, mark in/out, and timecode-anchored comments.
Audio Player Layout
When you open an audio asset in the Review Player, the interface has four key areas:

- Top Navigation Bar—controls for navigating back, changing status, toggling Theatre Mode, and accessing asset actions
- Audio Viewer—the central area of the player
- Bottom Navigation Bar—playback controls including play/pause, timecode, volume, speed, and fullscreen
- Right Sidebar—tabs for Comments, Metadata, and Shortcuts
Top Navigation
The top navigation bar runs across the full width of the player and is divided into two sides.

Left Side
- Back button—navigates back to the asset's location (project or folder). Opens in a new tab so you don't lose your place in the review.
- Asset name—displays the name of the currently open asset.

Right Side
- Live Users—avatars of teammates currently viewing the same asset in real time, with a count for additional viewers (e.g. +2)
- Status—a dropdown to update the review status of the asset (e.g. Needs Review, Approved). Changes are reflected immediately across the project.
- Theatre Mode—toggles between Default Mode (sidebar visible) and Theatre Mode (player expands to full width, sidebar hidden). Also accessible via the keyboard shortcut T.
- More Actions (...)—a menu with additional asset options:
- Asset Details—view and copy the asset's ID and path, useful for sharing context with teammates or raising support tickets
- Share Asset—open the share modal to invite collaborators for review, approval, or download
- Copy Link—copy a direct link to the asset for quick sharing within your team
- Go Next—jump to the next asset in the current folder
- Go Previous—jump to the previous asset in the current folder

Playback Controls (Bottom Bar)

| Timecode display | Shows current position. Click to edit and jump to a specific timecode | |
| Playback Speed | L / J | Choose from 0.5x to 8x |
| Fullscreen | F | Expand to fullscreen |

On mobile: The bottom bar shows Play, Volume, Timecode, and Fullscreen. The comment input area shows Mark In/Out buttons for range comments.

Note: Subtitles, Audio Tracks, and Safe Area are not available for audio assets.
Comments on Audio
Comments work the same as on video assets — they are anchored to a specific timecode. The comment input shows the current timecode badge when you type.
All comment actions — reply, edit, resolve, delete, public/private visibility, filter by type, download — work identically to video assets. See Review Comments for full details.
