You can download any asset you have access to — either a watermarked proxy or the original file.
How to Download an Asset
- Go to your Project Page and locate the asset.
- Click Asset Actions (...) on the asset card.
- Open the More submenu, then select Download Proxy or Download Original.

| Download Proxy | ProView prepares a watermarked proxy. You'll get an email when it's ready — use the Click to Download button in the email. The download link stays valid for 12 hours. |
| Download Original | The original file downloads immediately. |
Tip: You can select up to 10 assets and download their proxy or original versions together from the multi-select area. See Multi-Select Assets.
Note: Proxy downloads are available for video assets; the proxy is watermarked. See Security Watermarks for what's applied.
I get an error when I try to download.
Downloading is permission-gated. The Download Proxy and Download Original options (under More) are always shown, but if you haven't been granted download access, Postudio displays "Ask your team/project admin to enable this feature." Contact your Project Admin to request download permission.

Why is the proxy watermarked?
Proxies are preview copies, so they carry security watermarks. If you need the clean file, download the Original (where you have permission), or ask the owner to share the original via the Share flow.
