Change Asset Status
Keep everyone on the same page by updating an asset's status — from the project or the player.

Status updates let your whole team track review progress at a glance. You can change an asset's status from the project view or from inside the ProView player; the update is reflected everywhere in real time.
From the Project
- Go to your Project Page.
- Click Asset Action (...) on the asset card.
- Click the current status (e.g. No Status).
- Choose a new status.
In the Review Player
- Open the asset in the Review Player.
- Click the Status dropdown in the top-right of the player (it shows the current status).
- Select a new status.
Either way, the change appears for all project members instantly — on the asset card and in the player header.
Available Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
| In Progress | Work is actively ongoing |
| Needs Review | Work is ready for feedback |
| Approved | Reviewed and signed off |
| No Status | Default — no status assigned, or used to clear a status |
Note: Changing status requires the appropriate asset permission. The status control is still shown if you don't have it — Postudio displays "Ask your team/project admin to enable this feature." when you try to change it. Ask your Team or Project Admin to enable the permission.
