We've always said the key to a productive edit session is asset organization. Organizing helps you work smarter and improves productivity. We simplify this process with simple Copy/Move files/folder options.

Here's how you can do it:

  • Go to the Project > Asset Card
  • Go to Asset Actions > Organize
  • Click on Copy Asset / Move Asset
  • A popup will show up with Asset Details
  • Select the destination Project from the dropdown. Keep in mind you can only move/copy files and folders between projects you have access to
  • You'll see the list of available Folders in the project including the User Folders and the All-Users Folder
  • Click on any folder and press the Copy / Move button

FAQs:

How will I know if a file is moved to a different project?

Once you press the Move button, you'll receive a notification saying: Move file initiated. Click on that to go to the destination project to track the file move status.

Why can't I see the Organize option?

You may not have permission to Copy/Move assets within or between projects. You can ask the Project Creator to grant Organize Assets access.
