Security Watermarks
How ProView protects assets during review and distribution.

To protect your content, ProView overlays security watermarks on shared assets — both when they're viewed in the player and when a proxy is downloaded. Watermarks carry the company logo and identifying details so shared material stays traceable.
When Viewing a Shared Asset (Signed In)
When a reviewer opens a shared asset in the player, two watermarks appear:
- Company logo — bottom-left corner of the player.
- Reviewer's email address — top-right corner.
These viewer watermarks appear on video, image, and PDF assets.
When Downloading a Proxy (Video Only)
A downloaded video proxy has three watermark layers burned into the file:
- Company logo — top-left corner.
- "Downloaded by: [email]" — bottom-right corner, showing who downloaded it.
- "Preview Copy" — repeated across the video frame as a burn-in.

Note: Proxy downloads are only available for video assets. Audio, Image, and PDF assets don't support proxy downloads, so only the in-player viewer watermarks apply. Downloading the Original file (where permitted) delivers the un-watermarked asset.
