Share folders with members and groups

You can easily share folders with team members, external stakeholders, or groups for further action, feedback, approval, or final delivery.
Steps to Share Folders
1. Find the folder you want to share.
2. Click Asset Actions (...) button > Go to Share > Click Folder
3. On the Share Folder pop-up, decide if you want to share with a pre-defined group or members
- Share with Groups - On Groups tab, select the desired groups. Click Update.
- Share with Members - On Members tab, add the members you want to share the folder with. Click Add.



Share Folders with your team/project members:
- Find the folder you want to share.
- Click Asset Actions (...) button > Go to More
- Click on the Copy Link menu to share internally

FAQs
1. I cannot find any groups when I open Share Folder pop-up.
If you cannot find any group in Share Folder pop-up, it's likely that your team admin has not created any group yet. Ask your Team Admin to create a group to the team.
2. What happens to Shared Folders if a Project Admin deletes a group from the project?
The sharing of the folders is revoked as soon as a group is deleted from a project.
3. What are the default set of permissions provided to users with Shared Folders?
- Members - The default set of permissions for folder sharing with members are - View all assets, Upload assets, Share for Review, Access Public Comments
- Groups - The default set of permissions for folder sharing with groups are same as the group permissions provided by Team Admin.
4. What happens to users who haven’t signed-up on Postudio, but added to group as a member?
- If the group is added to a project or a folder, the user will get an email notification to sign-up on Postudio. After they sign-up, they will become part of the group and they will start receiving all the updates.
- If the group is not added to any project or folder, the user will not be notified.
