Add and manage Project Members to bring your creative vision to life

At Postudio, we believe “greatness is rarely achieved alone.” That’s why our collaboration module is designed to help teams work together seamlessly—whether you're assigning tasks, sharing files, or co-editing in real time.

How to Add Members
  1. Go to your Project Page

  2. Click the + New button

  3. Select Invite Members from the dropdown

  4. In the popup window, enter the Name or Email Address of each Project Member

  5. Fill in the Role and Duration of access.

  6. Click Invite to send the invitation

Your Project members will receive an invitation and be added to the project for the specified role.

Adding Existing and New Members
If the person is already a Postudio member: You can add them instantly by selecting their username from the list and click Update.
If the person is new to Postudio: You’ll be prompted to invite them to join. Once they sign up, they will be added to your project.

After a Project Member is added, you can assign tasks and work together in real time.

Project Member Actions

You want to modify roles, and permissions, of a project members as follows.

  • Go to your selected Project Member card
  • Click on Member Actions (...)
    • Edit Details - You can edit member roles such as Project Admin, Task Admin, and Project Member. Check 'Project Member Roles' article for more details.
    • Change Permissions - You can modify individual permissions such as Team Management, Project Management, Downloads, Share, and more. Check 'Project Member Permissions' article for more details.

1. How much access do Project Members have for my project and assets?

You control each collaborator’s access by assigning specific roles and permissions based on their roles and responsibilities. Check the following articles for more details.

You can adjust roles and permissions in the Members section of your project any time.


2. How do I communicate with my Project members?

Postudio offers several built‑in collaboration tools:

  • Preview Player: Review video rushes, leave timestamped comments, and track version changes.

  • Live Collaboration: Co‑edit the same timeline, sequence, or project in real time.

  • Integrated Audio Calls: Start or join an audio call directly within a live collaboration session for instant feedback.
