Adding label and color makes it easier to categorise, search, and identify folders.
There are numerous ways to use Project Labels. Assume your project has folders that list movies and shows. You can use folder labels to segregate primary language of the content - English (Blue), Hindi (Orange), Tamil (Yellow), Telugu (Pink), Korean (Red), etc.
Steps to Add or Update Label & Color
- Go to your Project, and locate the relevant folder
- Click Asset Action (...), and select Metadata from the pop-up.
- The Asset Metadata pop-up will open. You can do the following:
- Add / Update a Folder Label. It will be added on the folder. It can be anything other than the Folder Name that makes it easier for identification.
- Choose a Folder Color. It will be used as background for the folder label. Once you socialise the color code within your team, it will make it easier to scan through a large list of folders quickly.
- Toggle to apply label to the sub-folders inside the folder by default.
- If you switch on the option to apply this to all assets inside it,
- It will apply the label and color to all sub-folders inside the folder by default.
- If you want to change the label and color for any sub-folder, you can simply modify the label and color for the sub-folder.
- Click Update to save your changes
