Overview
We're expanding the video review experience with track-aware commenting—a smarter way to give feedback on multi-language and mixed-audio content. Reviewers can now tie comments directly to the active subtitle or audio track, making it easier for every collaborator to understand the context behind each note without back-and-forth.

ProView—Review Player
Subtitles
Add and preview multiple .vtt subtitle tracks directly in the video player via the Settings gear → Subtitles. Multiple subtitle versions can be uploaded—such as different languages or caption variants—and switched at any point during review, giving teams full control over which track is visible while watching.

Switch between different audio mixes or dubbed language versions without leaving the player via the Settings gear → Audio Tracks. This makes it easy to review localized versions or alternate mixes in a single session.

Track-Based Commenting
Comments can now be tied to the subtitle or audio track that was active when the comment was made. The selected tracks appear as chips inside the comment input box—so reviewers always know which track context they're commenting on, and can switch tracks before submitting if needed.
The same chips are displayed on comment cards in the sidebar, making it easy to identify at a glance which track each piece of feedback relates to—no need to open or expand the comment.

Source Audio Behaviour
We keep the source audio on by default when no subtitle or audio track is selected, so you're never left watching in silence unexpectedly. Once you add a subtitle track, you can turn off the source audio independently. If you turn off both the subtitle and audio tracks, we'll ask you to select at least one to proceed with your comment.

Filter by Track
The comment sidebar now supports filtering by audio or subtitle track, so reviewers working on a specific language version or mix can focus on the feedback that's relevant to them without distraction.

Download Comments
Download Comments has moved from the modal to a dropdown directly in the comments sidebar. The export reflects exactly what you see—your active track filter (Audio or Subtitle), visibility filter (All, Private, or Public), and sort order (Timecode, Latest First, or Oldest First) are all carried through to the download. Comments can be exported as CSV or PDF.

Subtitles and Language Tracks
The Metadata tab in the review player now surfaces two additional fields—Subtitles and Language tracks. These reflect the subtitle and audio track files attached to the asset, giving reviewers a quick reference to what's available without needing to open the player settings.

Permission Updates
Restricted Delegated Permissions in Folder Sharing
When sharing a folder, users can now only grant permissions they themselves hold. If a collaborator attempts to assign a permission they don't own, that option is disabled in the sharing modal.
This closes a privilege escalation path where a restricted user could previously invite someone else and grant them higher access than their own.
Project Admins and Team Owners are unaffected and retain the ability to assign any available permission.
