You can share an asset directly from the Review Player to give external reviewers or teammates access without navigating back to the project.
- Open the asset in ProView.
- Click the More Actions (...) menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Share.
- The standard ProView share modal opens—invite collaborators by email and set their access level as usual.

To quickly create a public link to the asset:
- Click the More Actions (...) menu.
- Select Copy Public Link.
- The link is copied to your clipboard — paste and send it to anyone.

- When sharing the asset, set a passcode (8–16 characters).
- Postudio includes the passcode in the download email sent to the recipient.

- Open the shared link—the asset opens in the Player.
- Click the More Actions (...) menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Download.
- A Download Asset modal appears—enter the passcode.
- Click Download to download the asset.
Asset owners can share a download link secured with a passcode, allowing external recipients to download the asset without needing a Postudio account.

Note: The passcode is set by the asset owner and is sent to the recipient in the download email, so it no longer needs to be shared separately. Recipients do not need a Postudio account to download.
Security Watermarks
ProView applies security watermarks to protect assets during review and distribution. Watermarks are visible on video, image, and PDF assets.
- The company logo appears in the bottom-left corner of the player.
- The reviewer's email address appears in the top-right corner.

When downloading a proxy (video only):
The downloaded proxy file contains three watermark layers burned into the video:
- Company logo — top-left corner
- "Downloaded by: [email]" — bottom-right corner, showing the email of the person who downloaded it
- "Preview Copy" — repeated text overlaid across the video frame as a burn-in
Note: Proxy downloads are only available for video assets. Image and PDF assets do not support proxy downloads, so only the in-player viewer watermarks apply.
