Copy or move files and folders across your projects and folders

A well-organized workspace is essential for efficient editing. Postudio lets you easily move or copy assets between folders or projects to keep things streamlined.
- Go to your Project Page, and locate the asset you want to organize.
- On the Asset Action (...) pop-up, select Organize.
Choose one of the following:
Copy Asset
Move Asset
On the Copy Asset or Move Asset pop-up, select the destination project from the dropdown. You can only copy/move between projects you have access to.
Choose a target folder
Click Copy or Move to complete the action
Regularly organize your assets ensures a smoother editing workflow and quicker access to what you need, when you need it.
FAQs
1. How will I know if a file has been moved to a different project?
After you click the Move button, you'll receive a notification that says: “Move file initiated.” Click on the notification to go directly to the destination project, where you can track the file move status.2. Why do I not see the Organize option?
There are two possible reasons:Permission Issue – You may not have the required permission to move or copy assets. Contact the Project Admin to request Organize Assets access.
Project Access Limitation – You can only move or copy assets between projects you have access to.
