If your team has connected Amazon S3 or Contido, you can import assets directly from that storage into a project — no manual download-and-re-upload. Importing is the inbound counterpart to Publish Assets, which sends files the other way.
Before You Start
- The integration must be connected by a Team Admin in Team Settings → Integrations. See Integrate Amazon S3 or Contido.
- You need the relevant project permission to import assets. Once an integration is connected, any team member with that permission can use it.

How to Import
- Open the project you want to import into.
- From the project's creation actions (+ New / + New Assets), choose the import option for your connected integration — Amazon S3 or Contido.
- Browse the connected storage and select the file(s) you want to bring in.
- Choose the destination folder in your project.
- Start the import.

The import runs in the background and lands in the folder you chose. You can track its progress and status on the Transfers page.
Note: The exact menu label and path for the import option depend on your current build — confirm against your project UI before publishing this article.
