Camera to Edit

• Project Admins have C2E permission by default.
• Admins can grant C2E access to other project members via the C2E Session Management permission. See Project Member Roles & Permissions.

1. On your Project Page, either click + New → Create C2E Session, or open the C2E Sessions tab and choose New Session.
2. In the New C2E Session pop-up, select your camera model from the dropdown.
3. Optionally choose a Destination folder for the uploaded files.
4. Click Create.

1. On the new session card, click C2E Actions (...) → Share Session.
2. The Share Session card shows the Hostname, Username, and Password.

Give these credentials to the camera operator or assistant to configure the camera (or the camera assistant system) for real-time transfer to ProView.

• Active sessions can be paused or turned off when not in use.
• Sessions can be deleted permanently when no longer needed.

Connecting the Camera

• The camera must support FTP uploading.
• Use a Class 10 SDXC card to record proxy files.
• Place the Postudio certificate file in the root directory of the SDXC card.

1. Set the camera to Station Mode.
2. Enable admin access for wireless settings if it isn't already.
3. On the camera, go to Menu → Network → ST Mode and scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
4. Enable DHCP in the Wi-Fi settings.

1. On the camera, go to File Transfer → Server Settings.
2. Set Default Server to Server Settings 1.
3. Enter the Postudio C2E credentials into Server Settings 1.
4. Load the certificate with the Set button.
5. Once the certificate loads, the camera connects automatically.
6. Enable Auto Upload (Proxy) to upload proxy files automatically after each recording.
7. (Optional) Set a custom folder name in the camera settings.

• Editors access proxy files from the C2E folder in the Postudio cloud.
• Files also appear in the Premiere Pro Media Browser.
• Edit from these files and save your work as a new Premiere Pro project file.

1. In Premiere Pro, go to File → Project Manager → Collect Files → Copy to New Location.
2. Tick Exclude Unused Clips so only the media used in the timeline is copied.
3. Set the destination to the shared C2E-Uploads folder.
4. A new folder named Copied_[project name] is created, containing the trimmed Premiere Pro project file and all proxy files used in the final timeline.

This keeps your workspace clean and makes handoff and final delivery easier for the rest of the team.
