We're excited to bring you one of our most impactful updates yet. This release is packed with meaningful enhancements across Desktop, Mobile, and the core platform — all designed to make your media review experience faster, smarter, and more enjoyable.
From real-time collaboration features to precision playback improvements, every change is built with your workflow in mind. Whether you're reviewing on a large desktop setup or on the go from your mobile device, this update makes the player feel more powerful and more intuitive than ever.
Platform-Wide
Active User Presence Indicator
Reviewers can now see which team members are currently viewing an asset in the player in real time. This live presence awareness enables better coordination during collaborative review sessions, reducing duplicate feedback and making it easier to align on decisions as a team.
Multi-Track Audio Support
Multiple audio tracks can now be loaded alongside a video asset, allowing reviewers to switch between language-specific or version-specific audio tracks during playback. This is particularly valuable for localization QC workflows, enabling frame-accurate review of dubbed or mixed audio against the original video without switching between separate files.
Timecode Edit Precision
Timecode input and editing have been overhauled for improved accuracy. Users can now make fine-grained timecode adjustments with confidence, reducing errors in frame-accurate review and annotation workflows.
Elastic Comment & Reply Input
The comment and reply input box now dynamically expands as users type, accommodating longer annotations without requiring manual resizing or obscuring surrounding content.
Container-Aware Image Zoom
Image zoom behavior is now calculated relative to its container rather than the viewport, resulting in more predictable and contextually appropriate zoom levels across different layout configurations.
Enhanced Comment & Reply Experience
A series of targeted improvements across the comment and reply system collectively deliver a more fluid and reliable annotation workflow — including better rendering, improved threading clarity, and more responsive interactions.
Seamless Asset Navigation
Transitioning between assets using the next/previous controls is now seamless, with reduced load interruption and consistent state preservation. This improves the pacing of back-to-back asset reviews significantly.
Back to Project Navigation
A dedicated Back to Project button has been introduced, providing users with a clear and consistent path to return to the project-level view from any asset — reducing reliance on browser navigation and improving overall wayfinding.
Precise Video & Audio End Timing
Video and audio assets now conclude playback at the exact duration timestamp, resolving a longstanding issue where content could end fractionally before or after the intended endpoint. This is critical for frame-accurate review and QC workflows.
Improved Page Load Performance
General page loading has been optimized across the platform, resulting in faster initial render times and a more responsive experience when navigating between projects and assets.
Improved Annotation Tools
The annotation toolkit has been expanded with a new arrow tool, giving reviewers a more precise and expressive way to direct attention within a frame. A dedicated back action is also now available within the panel, allowing users to close the annotations panel quickly without losing context or disrupting their review flow.
Smarter User Mentions
The user mention experience in comments and replies has been elevated with a refreshed design. The mention suggestions interface is now cleaner and easier to navigate, making it more intuitive to tag the right team member without interrupting the flow of leaving feedback.
Timecode Preview on Seek Bar Hover
Hovering over the seek bar now displays a timecode preview, allowing reviewers to identify and jump to specific moments with precision before committing to a seek. This small but powerful addition meaningfully speeds up navigation in longer assets.
Desktop
Resizable Media & Comment Panel
Reviewers can now dynamically resize the media viewer and comment panel to suit their content and workflow. This is particularly valuable when working with dense comment threads alongside high-resolution assets, enabling a more focused and flexible review environment.
Expanded Keyboard Shortcuts with Visual Feedback
Additional keyboard shortcuts have been introduced to accelerate common review actions. Users now receive on-screen feedback when a shortcut is triggered, reducing ambiguity and improving discoverability for new and power users alike.
Persistent Theater Mode & View State Across Assets
Theater Mode preference is now preserved when navigating between assets using the next/previous controls. Users no longer need to reapply display preferences mid-session, ensuring a consistent and uninterrupted review experience.
Reorganized Player Controls
Player controls have been logically regrouped to reduce visual noise and improve ergonomics. Related actions are now clustered together, making the playback interface more intuitive and reducing time spent locating controls during review.
Mobile
Sticky Media Viewer & Comment Input
The media viewer and comment input box now remain anchored to the viewport during scroll, eliminating the need to scroll back up to interact with content or add comments. This significantly improves the one-handed review experience on mobile.
Expanded Playback Options
Playback Speed control, Subtitle toggling, Safe Area display, and additional playback options — previously unavailable on mobile — are now fully accessible. Mobile reviewers now have feature parity with desktop for core playback settings.
Improved Section Resizing
The panel and section resizing experience on mobile has been refined for smoother, more precise interaction. Resizing gestures are now more responsive and less prone to unintended triggers.
Streamlined Action Panel
The action panel has been decluttered by consolidating and deprioritizing less-used actions. The result is a cleaner interface that surfaces the most relevant controls without overwhelming the limited screen real estate.
Fast Seek Stability Fix
A bug causing erratic behavior during fast-seeking on mobile has been resolved. Scrubbing through video and audio content is now stable and predictable across supported devices.
