Native Connect App Usage
Set your display and keyboard preferences, check latency, and run a dual-screen setup.

Once you're connected — whether through the Native Connect app or the Chrome browser (opened via Launch Web App; see Launch ProHub) — you can tune display and keyboard settings and monitor connection quality. Your Session ID appears in the top-right of the ProHub session window; most settings live in the dropdown next to it.
On the Native Connect App (Mac)
Change display settings
- Click the dropdown next to your Session ID (top right).
- Go to Preferences.
- Open the Display tab (second tab) to change responsiveness, resolution, quality, and more.

Change keyboard settings
- Click the dropdown next to your Session ID.
- Go to Preferences.
- Open the Keyboard tab (third tab) to adjust the Option and Command key mappings.

Check latency
- In the Nice DCV app, click Connection.
- Choose Streaming Metrics from the dropdown.
- View framerate, network latency, and other metrics.

On the Chrome Browser
Change display settings
- Click the dropdown next to your Session ID (top right).
- Go to Preferences.
- Open the Display tab (second tab) to change responsiveness, resolution, quality, and more.

Check latency
- Click the dropdown next to your Session ID.
- Go to Preferences.
- On the Display tab, enable Streaming Metrics and click Save.
- A metrics readout (fps and ms) appears at the top of your screen.
- Click it to view detailed metrics and latency.
Note: Keyboard settings are adjusted in the Native Connect app; the Chrome browser session focuses on display and streaming metrics. (Confirm whether a Chrome keyboard-settings option exists before publishing — the live article had an empty section here.)
Dual-Screen Setup
You can run a second display in either environment:

- Chrome browser — click the Multiple Screens icon at the top of the ProHub session window. A new Chrome tab opens as your second display; drag it onto your other monitor.
- Native Connect app (Nice DCV) — click the Multiple Screens icon at the top of the window. A new window opens for your second monitor; drag it onto that monitor.
